So I have been discovering the joys of having an iphone. Part of the job is the different kinds of apps that you can download. The two that I wanted to tell you about today that can help with you weight loss journey is MyFitnessPal and the Nike + GPS app.
MyFitnessPal is great for keeping track of what you eat and recording your activity. It also allows you to be able to link with other friends so that they can see when you have exericed and encourage you. There is also a feature that you can scan a barcode and the information for that food automatically pops up. It is so awesome! You can also keep track of you weight.
The Nike + GPS app allows you to keep track of your running, walking, and jogging. It is so cool it shows you the route that you took as well as have a feature to show you where your fastest point was and slowest point was. A fun feature is that it can post on facebook when you are working out and if people on facebook like your run then you hear a cheer on your phone. So if you are all about the iphone like I have been lately then check these out the MyFitnessPal is free and the Nike + GPS app is 1.99 but it is worth it!
Another fun idea that I wanted to share with you was creating a jar where you put pebbles in it with each pebble resenting a lb you have to/ want to lose. One jar is for lbs still left to go and one is for lbs you have lost so far. Below is the picture of the jars that I made yesterday :). Thank you pinterest for this idea!
